Standard Terms & Conditions:

These Terms & Conditions shall apply with respect to users of our website, our electronic platforms, and service inquiries, and may be updated per website amendments, constituting an Agreement. Our Firm may perform its work in the USA or México, may delegate and assign as necessary, and may withdraw as necessitated by circumstances.  Our firm is a Texas professional limited liability company, and no personal liability is undertaken by individual attorneys of the Firm.
 
1. Confidential Information. The term "Confidential Information" covers any and all information, whether oral, written, or otherwise, that is disclosed by the Applicant ("Prospective Client") to the Ahlgren Law Firm (G.L. Ahlgren, P.L.L.C. d/b/a US-MX Law Group, Ltd, and its principals and designees) in connection with the Attorney's evaluation of potential representation and/or advice (collectively, “Services”) for Prospective Client.  Such Confidential Information is utilized to evaluate case viability, regulatory compliance, and potential conflicts of interest.  
 
2. Confidentiality. The Prospective Client and our Firm shall safeguard and protect Confidential Information which they may exchange with each other.  Each party shall take steps to avoid inadvertent disclosure of Confidential Information.  

3. Choice of Law & Forum. Use of this website or the electronic platforms or Services of the Firm shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the local and federal laws of the State of Texas, subject to binding arbitration in the USA or México, exclusively, in accordance with the place of performance by the Firm.  The choice of forum hereunder shall take precedence over other contractual agreements, if any, between the parties.

4. Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from this Agreement and the remainder shall retain validity.
 
5. Charges may apply as a prerequisite for case evaluation, and/or subsequent investigations and related matters.  The charges, if any, for the initial and subsequent investigation and/or Services shall be disclosed in writing and may be sent by separate e-mail, or by electronic messaging.
